This article walks through how to use the open-source tool Office Tool Plus to install and activate a customized Microsoft 365 deployment on 64-bit Windows. The example below installs only Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but you can customize the app list by editing the command in step 3.

  1. Download, extract, and run Office Tool Plus x64.

  2. Make sure you complete all of the following first:

    • Uninstall every version of Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Office already installed on the system, including Office 365.
    • In Office Tool Plus, go to Activate -> the menu next to Activate (A) -> Clear activation information.
    • Go to Toolbox -> Reset Office settings to default -> select every option -> Reset.
  3. Press Ctrl + Shift + P, paste the following app command, and press Enter.

    deploy /O365ProPlusRetail.exclapps Access,Bing,Groove,Lync,OneDrive,OneNote,Outlook,Publisher,Teams /add "O365ProPlusRetail_zh-cn|ProofingTools_en-us" /channel Current /edition 64
    
  4. Wait for the command above to finish. Then press Ctrl + Shift + P again, paste the following command, and press Enter.
